The HJCV pelletizer system converts the stream of molten polymer into pellets.
Starting at the die head, this system is separated into a number of strands which are cooled by direct contact with PCW in the vertical strand guide where the strands are directed into the cutter by a gravitation, then pulled out by two(2) feed rollers and cut into pellets by a rotating cutter.
The resulting slurry of pellets in a water stream flows via gravity into a pre-dewatering vibrator which separates water from pellet and carries pellet to a drying machine.
The drying machine which removes the surface water, finally conveying the dried pellets into a vibrating screen which selects pellets into normal, oversized and powder.
This system is a self-stranding. All strands formed at the die head flows down the vertical strand guide into the pelletizer without any assistance.
The PCW can be collected and recycled by a close loop of water recycling system.

Start-up flap : pivot or linear movement by pneumatic cylinder with scrapping device (optional) for die surface Vertical strand guide : grooved guide plates with customized length Mobile/Stationary frame : positioning device with wheels Cutting chamber : completed with strand draw-in section, cutting section, drives (speed control : Inverter) Take-up chute/after cooling line/container with strainer Cooling water control stand (double or single) Pneumatic assembly Electric panels : operator friendly concept In principal, all parts contacting with products and water are made of stainless steel
To reach pellet moisture content : ≤0.1%, we recommend our client to install - a vent blower combined with dryer - a pre-dewatering vibrator at the end of cooling chute and in front of dryer PET process : pre-dewatering vibrator is a must-installed unit because cooling water temperature is relatively low (about 30-35℃) Cooling water supply/return temperature - depending on polymers to be pelletized : ex) specific heat of polymer to be considered to come up with pellet temperature after dryer Cooling water quantity - depending on pelletizer M/C capability : ex) 50-55㎥/hr for HJCV9 To reach noise level : ≤85dB and maintain clean pelletizing filed, we recommend our clients to install - a supply air blower for dryer to be mounted outdoor - piping connected between a supply blower and dryer - a vent air blower for dryer to be mounted outdoor
